I would also go with a 425 spring for your weight. If you're only 10 lbs heavier than I am wearing gear, you won't need a heavier spring.

43 lbs. right now, but still running the stock boat anchor of a wheelset. I could also run lighter pedals, etc.

Also, get the right spring weight for it. My stock Fox spring was a 500. The spring on my Roco is a 425 and it's perfect (I weigh 155 without gear on).

I wholeheartedly suggest putting a Roco RC World Cup on your Shore. Night and day difference. Totally changes the bike for the better.
